This is a community-driven platform where users share and vote on links. It's run by an individual developer, not a company. These Terms protect both you and me and explain how things work here.

Submissions are ranked using a vote-based algorithm (the "hot board") that considers upvotes, recency, and engagement. Higher scores mean better visibility. This ranking doesn't mean I endorse any content.
Moderators can edit, remove, or restore content, feature posts, ban users, and access moderation tools. All moderator actions are logged for transparency.
You can only create an account by signing in with Google or GitHub. When you do this:

Your username, submissions, comments, and activity are publicly visible. Consider this before posting.

Use the Report feature to flag violations. Don't abuse the reporting system with false reports.
I may (but am not obligated to) remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms. I have complete discretion in moderation decisions. Violations may result in:

You may upvote submissions. Do not manipulate votes through multiple accounts, coordination with others, bots, payment, or any other means. I may nullify fraudulent votes and suspend accounts without notice.
Comments must follow the same rules as submissions. Be respectful even when disagreeing. You're responsible for your comments and any consequences they cause.
Use accurate, relevant tags. Moderators may edit tags for consistency.
I act as a platform for user expression, not as the publisher of user content. Under Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act (47 U.S.C. § 230), I am not liable for content posted by users.
I may, but am not required to, review, remove, or modify content at any time for any reason, including:
I have no obligation to monitor, review, or screen content before or after it's posted. The absence of moderation action doesn't constitute approval or endorsement of any content.
Moderators may edit, remove, restore, feature, or unfeature content, and suspend or ban users. All actions are logged. Moderator decisions are final and made in good faith.

You agree that any legal action must be brought exclusively in the courts of California, USA, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
Any claim must be filed within one (1) year after it arises, or it's forever barred, regardless of any law to the contrary.
YOU WAIVE YOUR RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL for any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service.
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and me regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements or understandings.
If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary, and the rest of the Terms remain in full effect.
